Seokhyun Louie Ryu

Associate Lawyer

Joining Walter Law Group in November 2025 as an Associate Lawyer, Seokhyun “Louie” Ryu brings a fresh perspective and fierce sense of advocacy to the practice of law and the client experience. Articling and later practicing at downtown premiere law firms, Louie has a strong understanding and experience in employment law matters, assisting both employees and employers on a range of issues and gained broad exposure to civil litigation matters and complex files requiring him to use both his legal expertise and background in business management.

Awarded to the Dean’s list in university and graduating with his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2023, Louis was recognized for legal excellence. With his passion for justice, and in addition to his legal studies, he made time to volunteer in legal clinics, providing legal advice on a range of matters and helping clients strategize solutions.

Before attending law school, Louie completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Specialized Honours) Management degree from York University. This specialized business knowledge combined with his legal expertise is an invaluable asset to clients and to the practice of law in today’s complex and ever-changing environment.
