Michael has been practicing law since 1994, specializing in the areas of employment, disability and injury law.
Growing up in Saskatchewan, Michael moved to Toronto for law school and began his legal career in downtown Toronto, working on behalf of insurance companies and employers. But his passion rested with helping people, so in 2002, building on his insider knowledge of how things work on the “other” defence side, he built a plaintiff focused law practice and earned a reputation for being fair but fierce and getting results for his clients.
With decades of practice and an earned reputation for excellence, in addition to his busy legal practice, Michael is also trusted by other lawyers to act as a Mediator of personal injury and employment and disability claims disputes.
